We had the good fortune of connecting with Antonio Cappuccino and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Antonio, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Since i was a child, i was captivated by the aviation world and the magic of flight. With time I developed a passion for photography, so I thought of connecting my two passions into one through plane spotting.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
During my journey as a plane spotter, I encountered many technical obstacles, including light exposure and its direction. Furthermore, at the beginning my hand was quite shaky and I wasn’t able to take clear photos. With time, experience and a lot of training I have learned to create perfectly clear and exposed photos. I also did a level-up of my photography equipment, so as to create better and better photos
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Currently I live in Turin, Italy, so if my best friend come in Turin i would take him at Turin Caselle Airport, after the Turin Aeritalia Airport, and for eat, Amici Miei’s Pizza, Bella Istanbul Kebap and a lot of similar restaurants. Afterwards I would take him to visit the city, showing him the Mole Antonelliana, Giardini Reali, Valentine’s Park, Turin Porta Nuova Station, Piazza Castello, Piazza San Carlo, Musei Reali of Turin, Egypt Museum
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
A special thanks go to my family, that supported me and, of course, all my plane spotting colleagues, because with them i can share my passions
