Hi Angela, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
As a travel social work coach, I created ASTCoaching to help other social workers navigate this niche profession and find lucrative employment by providing personalized career support through one-on-one coaching and virtual sessions. I offer multiple services for the novice or experienced travel social worker, ranging from goal setting to identifying skill gaps and training needs. I founded ASTCoaching.net to not only assist with career development but also focus on individual needs. Clients who work with me gain valuable lessons in personal growth by learning self-care techniques or how to cope with first-day jitters.Clients can use the step-by-step guidebook to pursue a career in this niche profession or become a more marketable traveling expert in the field.

I got into coaching because I saw a need to assist social workers with getting into this great field.

Starting ASTcoaching has taught me to stay the course when following your dreams.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting Birmingham, Al for the week I would tell her to check out the Vulcan for a beautiful view of the city, Moonshine rooftop bar, Adios Bar, House of Found Objects bar, El Barrio restaurant and Plum for live music on Saturday night
