Meet Andrea Perry | Painter and Instructor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrea Perry and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Andrea, how do you think about risk?
Born and raised in Paducah,KY Andrea Perry 39. Art has always been apart of my life. I attended Western Kentucky University, where i received my Bachelor of Fine Art. I’ve been painting and creating for 25 years and loving every minute of it. Creating is like the equivalent to breathing for me.

For me I believe taking risk is an incredible opportunity for growth. Taking risk can lead to greater benefits or experiences, you would never knew existed. If you didn’t take a leap of faith trying something you’ve never done. How will you ever reach you full potential and find your true self.

Ive taking many risk in my life. However, starting a paint and sip business from scratch and knowing nothing about the business. All I know is that “I CAN DO THIS”, and that was the beginning. It was one of the scariest and most rewarding experiences I’ve ever made! Four years later, with all the lessons learned, all the smiles and relationships built thru the my passion of sharing creativity and art with others.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets Let Loose Painting, paint parties apart from others is that I focus on the art and the experience within in the moment. Choosing pieces to paint where you want to hang them up on your walls. I get excited about seeing people really diving in and giving it all they got to sharing there vision. I’ve been doing this for several years and it still amazes me when a group of 10 or 30 people are painting, laughing and having fun. Then suddenly, everyone is quit and focus. Lets me know they care about what their painting.

I started my business from the ground up. From starting with ten easel to now a hundred easels. It wasn’t easy and it took patience to build and grow my business. Going thru the ups and downs, learning the lessons. Which only made me better and more efficient for my next event. If I wasn’t able to go thru these challenges, I feel my business and preparation would’ve suffered. I’ve learned presentation is everything for beginning to end is very important. Understanding people, being able to read the room and being a step ahead of their needs so there experience is enjoyable.

Let Loose Painting provides all materials needed for your event small or large. We can create custom pieces or replicas of a picture you’ve alway loved. If I could let the world know about me, my brand and or my story. They’re all one and the same. My life is art and creating. Even if it’s a moment in life thru an experiences or on canvas. Helping people connect to something or finding something inside of themselves. Painting has always been a source of release and safe haven for me ever since I was a boy and nothing has change now.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. I would take them to Cigar City Club, Fellaship, Red Phone booth and The Patio. That is literally and Monday thru Saturday itinerary. We would eat and drink at Atlanta Breakfast Club, Mama’s Restaurant, and then The James Room to hang out.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My sister Astarre would be the person I shoutout. A woman who doesn’t know how to quite and is the most giving person I know. She pulled me aside and told me, “You better get on it! I mean like yesterday, you got this.” That was all I needed to hear. If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t even started.
