We had the good fortune of connecting with Amanda Morais and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amanda, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I have always lived in the wedding business since a little kid, my mom is a Bride Design, so I grow up watching the beautiful Brides getting dress, and all makeup/hair done for they big days, and that made me feel so special! Be part of a big dream, a historical moment in someone’s life! So when I moved to the USA, I missed that felling, be part of something, so I wanted to feel that again I decided to start working with my 2 passions makeup and weddings!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Everyday I learn a new thing, andei believe that’s the beauty on being a makeup artist, all the new techniques and different products we can innovate the makeup and re-create it too! My business has been grown in those last 3 years, and I’m so happy and proud of my work because that is a recognized of everything I have done so far to keep my business out there! Wasn’t easy, but when you believe in your product you don’t give up! I have given my best every single time, with every customer, and that’s make the difference in my business.

Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
I would definitely take to meet the lake Lanier, is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been here in Georgia! Then I would take to eat a sushi at the wicked sushi in Buford, for those who love sushi this is the spot!!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
