We had the good fortune of connecting with A:M Almighty and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi A:M, as a parent, what have you done for you children that you feel has had the most significant impact?
Change in the thought process of my own life as it relates to income. The generations before me were taught to be workers and I strive on not having to work for anyone but myself. My son will have the choice to go to college, own a business, or create his own path. He will do anything but be an employee whose finances depend on someone else.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart from other is that when I create music I’m not looking to create the next “Wave”. I genuinely make music from my heart and my life in general, my music will always be personal as it is a form of therapy. Challenges besides the bias music industry is holding onto friendships and relationships. With my music being so personal people can often feel attacked when I speak on a personal situation through my music. Some consider things as a “diss” record when I’m just telling the truth how I see it. Those who stuck by me and actually tried to understand what I go through are meant to still be here, and will forever be awarded by me through whatever I do.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
First stop is getting brunch. Atlanta has many spots to brunch so we could either keep it hood and go to a brunch that has hookah and a DJ playing music, or keep it classy and head somewhere in Alpharetta lol. Next we are headed to the Atlanta beltline for some site seeing and to get the feel of the city all at once with the beautiful street art and views. Once the night comes we going to hit the strip club for the best wings and spend some money with the ladies of our choice. Speaking of spending money you ain’t having fun until you hit a few malls here in Atlanta so we go shop every day. Other than site seeing we go hit the studio for about 6 hours and repeat from the night before.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a huge shoutout to my business partner and good friend Braveaux. For years we moved in our own lanes as artists, but in the last 2 years we have put our heads together and came up with the best strategies to not only take our music careers to the next level but our businesses in general.
