We had the good fortune of connecting with Alex and Noemy Contreras (Alex) Alcauter (Noemy) and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alex and Noemy, how do you think about risk?
We believe that with no risks, there’s no winning. When we first started several years ago, we didn’t have the resources we have now but were driven to help other small businesses within the community to get their product the attention they deserve. The more we helped others, the more we thought of leaving our nine-to-fives, to pursue our dream-having our own marketing agency. But taking the risk was definitely not an easy decision. After some time, we decided to take a leap of faith to make this project a full-time job and we haven’t looked back since.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Origen Creations started as a dream to do what we love as a family, which is to provide creative marketing solutions to small and medium-sized businesses. We started with a few accounts here and there, when we eventually took the risk to make this dream a full-time project.

The process is not always easy. It can be challenging to create an environment in which our clients are always satisfied, but it is definitely worth the effort. We overcome this with personal and constant communication with each one of them to make sure their needs are met. Because of that, we are most proud of our team. We feel so lucky to have such a talented group of people that always gives their best and has a creative outlook to make every project something unique.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Hopefully, they would visit during the summer, which is when I consider Atlanta and the nearby area to be most beautiful. If it’s their first time over, probably visit the typical tourist sites such as World of Coke, the aquarium, Centennial Park and High Museum. Later that week, maybe hit a bar for some drinks. Lake Lanier is a must; we’d take them on a boat ride for a fun time and some swimming. But definitely, if our best friends are over it would be much more a week of catching up and having some carnita asada back at home.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shoutout to Pepe Coronado from Cruz Auto Sales! Thank you for trusting Origen Creations throughout our process. We admire your dedication and work ethic and are glad to have you as part of our story.
