Today we’re excited to be connecting with Aharown Sparrow again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.

Aharown , we are so thrilled to be connecting again and can’t wait to hear about all the amazing things you have been up to. Before we jump into all of that, some of our readers might have missed our prior interview, so can you take a moment to reintroduce yourself?
My name is Aharown Sparrow, I’m from Houston Texas but moved to Atlanta to attend Morehouse in 2011 and have been here ever since, I have been DJing since 2012 and continue to do so to this day. I have djed all over the world including Spain and Aruba and look to continue DJing for the foreseeable future. My style of music is unique because I’ve met people from so many places I like to blend it all together to create things people weren’t expecting and probably won’t hear again.

Great, so let’s jump into an update on what you have been up to since we last spoke. What can you share with us?
Well the good news is I’m still alive doing what I love DJing, recently got married to an AmAzInG woman and couldn’t be happier. I’ve started doing more private events like weddings & corporate events but currently have a residency at the Fin & Feathers restaurants in Atlanta. So quite a few good things and exciting things. A bit of transparency to keep it real with the readers. I almost lost my life a few months ago in a motorcycle accident so since then my road to recovery has been pretty tumultuous physically mentally emotionally and spiritually but I’ve come through with new more focused outlook on how I want to live my life.

We have now arrived at one of our favorite parts of the interview – the lightning round. We’ll ask you a few quick questions to give us all some fun insights about you.

What do you want people to remember about you and your brand? What are some of things that you feel are most important, unique, special, etc?
When it’s all said and done and I finally stop djing I want people to remember the way the music made them feel. I am first and foremost a dj for the ladies. I love playing at restaurants where you come to eat but can’t sit down because the music has you entranced. I want people to remember the stories that I’m telling when I’m playing my music. I want your grandma to say “you don’t know nothing bout that” when YOU take her to YOUR favorite spot for food and I’m playing there. I want the name DJ Aha to be synonymous with fun.
