We had the good fortune of connecting with Aazia Aaron and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Aazia, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
It’s important to work hard, but balance is also a huge part of the successful. Having a business/career is one of The most rewarding things in my opinion but it can be very overwhelming, just remember to take time for yourself.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a master cosmetologist who specializes in natural hair. I absolutely love what I do and I love taking care of Women and making them feel just as beautiful on the outside as they do on the inside. Professionally doing hair is a huge risk especially when you start off with having zero clientele but as time goes on it gets a little better you just have to be persistent and make sure that she brand yourself and step outside of your comfort zone. My brand is special to me because I built it from the ground up my brand is me.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Atlantic Station is always a good place to go they have a good food shopping and fun activities, Bowlero is one of my favorites.
There are so many good food places in the city a few of my favorite are Escobar seafood, Stonecreek Pizza, and Big Dave’s Chessesteaks.
I’m always down for a good lounge or hookah spot, so cigar lounge, Sivas hookah lounge and Smoke City Atlanta are good vibes.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I actually never had the desire to do hair I worked at a hair salon in Conyers Georgia called E’Lure hair and spa as a shampoo assistant. All the women there were very encouraging and inspiring and they gave me the push to actually go to cosmetology school so I must say that They get a lot of recognition in Who I am today.
