We had the good fortune of connecting with Candace Holyfield and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Candace, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success is being resilient. So many obstacles have came my way during my success journey but I continue to fight for my success as an entrepreneur.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Im widely known as the Six Figure Spa Chick. Instagram being my favorite playground. I originally started off with my spa business but then grew to consulting. Helping others become successfully in the spa industry quickly grew my brand because I was now able to help more people on a larger scale. Im most proud of hosting the first and only Spa Expo for African American spa professionals in 2019. I was recognized by the city of Atlanta for my efforts to add value to the community. I moved to Atlanta in 2015 and that really played a huge part of my now success in 2020. The first year and a half was horrible as I was building my brand in new city. I felt Atlanta was where I needed to be so I showed up every single day on social media since August 12, 2015 up until today. This is how I built Six Figure Spa Chick. I have learned so many lessons as a business owner. One important lesson is that your price point will keep you broke. I learned to always add value, continue learning, and reevaluate my product catalog every quarter. I want the world to know Im dedicate to helping others become more successful than me. I love doing events and educating the community. Many people have not because they know not. Im honored to be chosen to help the community.

Several people played a huge part to my success. My first business coach Sabrina Peterson (the glam university), Mary Seats (Mz Skittlez), Veronica Southerland (Vee the Np), Audria Richmond, and Dawniel Winningham to name a few of my business coaches throughout the years. Each person taught me about business, life lessons and money.
