We had the good fortune of connecting with Tayler Davis-Robinson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tayler, is there something you believe many others might not?
“Fake it ‘til you make it.”

I believe that faking it until you make it to where you want to be in life; puts your true feelings, and the purpose of your storm on the back burner. It can destroy something made specifically for you later in life. Of course, no one wants to go through anything tough, but I truly believe that everything we endure molds us into who we are destined to be.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What I believe sets me apart from others is my drive for better, and being completely open to change. I believe that most of the time; people are set on what they want to do in life, and forget that change takes place in our lives everyday. We hinder ourselves on what we think we want not thinking about the good that comes with change.

I’m most proud of my dedication and consistency for more and better. Balancing school and all three of my businesses is not easy; but I am doing it!

Though there is a lot more work to be done; I got to where I am today by remembering why I started what I’m doing in the first place, being consistent, and accepting help when it is sitting at your doorstep! It was not and has not been easy; because you want things to go as you planned for them to be; but once you let go and let life, the things that are meant for you begin to gravitate toward you.

A few lessons that I’ve learned along the way are:
1) “Defeat isn’t bitter if you’re smart enough not to swallow it.” Meaning at one time or another we will experience failure. The more we risk, the more we will fail. The trick is not to think of failure as the need, but as a part of your success.

2) “Your education is never complete.” I believe in dedicating yourself to living life and continually learning. Prepare yourself for what life has to teach by being open to the lessons in everything you do and experience in life.

3) “When you’re facing the right direction, all you need to do is keep walking.” If you are blessed enough to know what you want to do in life. You can apply your passion and always love what you do. If you are working to find exactly what you passion is in life, keep exploring. Either way stay consistent and determined.

What I want the world to know about my story is that faith, consistency, and hard work, is what created my story.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, I relocated my life to Charleston, SC in April of 2020; in the beginning of the pandemic. So I haven’t been able to experience as much as I’d like, but some really good food places are Red Crab, a seafood boil/style restaurant and Hall’s Chophouse, a high scale seafood and Chophouse. Margaritas is a Mexican-style restaurant, and one of the best places to drink, serving 32 ounce margaritas! For going out and having fun; The Blue Note Bistro. The Blue Note Bistro is a grown and sexy style hookah bar, bar and lounge. I cannot forget the beaches, Folly Beach and Isle of Palms.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
God, my mother, father, and sister, Robbyn. They are my daily motivation.
God has a way of opening my eyes to things everyday that I never thought were meant for me. That’s honestly just how He works. My father is always investing into my business without me asking him to. My mother is always giving me words of encouragement and motivation when I feel down and almost ready to give in. Finally, my little sister. She and I will be tackling this field of beauty together. Robbyn’s passion for excellence motivates me to have our plan set in stone for our future so that we are on the correct road to success and wealth.
