We had the good fortune of connecting with JOE WILLIAMS and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi JOE, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Independence & Pressure…
Owning a business is like being a on a team of good individuals looking for leadership and being selected as the captain. Thus, most are depending on the captain’s decisions both good and not so good, which means being able to balance both ends of the pendulums.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
ART: Writing scripts for movies that depict everyday occurrences we tend to take for granted,
Building a network of good people who believe in your dream is difficult but made easier when you share the experience and put emphasis on how it benefits “THEM”.
EASY: If it were easy; everyone would be doing it and the world would be a better place right? Wrong; the world would be far off without diversity in our thought process.
Challenge: Life rolls a ball out and it becomes a competitive relationship between the best of the best to go after the ball right?
Lessons: To not wait for others but, believe you can achieve anything you set your mind to. It is your dream as no man/woman can take it.
Lastly, never give up!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Take a tour on I-285 which circles the inner city. Monday – Stone Mountain and nearby restaurants in the area. However, If you are adventurous; walk to the top of the largest granite structure in Georgia. Remember, you can walk back down or take tram down.
Tuesday – MLK Center and tour historic downtowns old Braves stadium and now home of Georgia State University
Wednesday – Buckhead hangout on Peachtree street and all the eclectic shops and stores leading to Lenox Mall.
Thursday – Botanical Gardens for the nature and horticultural guest this is a solid attraction and sure fire great time.
Friday – Little Five Points near Moreland Road and park and walk…great in/out of shops and festivities.
Saturday – Amicaola Water Falls State Park (Dawsonville, Ga) spend hours viewing the falls and taking 425 steps up to the top of the and…coming back down 425 steps…

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
