Meet Miriah Stacy: CEO of MostProductions LLC.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Miriah Stacy and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Miriah, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?
My business has taught me to not give up in what I believe in. Starting a business is difficult; and keeping it afloat is even more of a process. Starting a business is grueling because there are days that I think negative. There will be people that will doubt or even not understand your process or why you do what you do. The feeling of not being good enough is something you must continuously overcome if you want to be successful. Sometimes you will look around and others will seemingly be doing better than you. You must be happy for them; for a true winner isn’t bothered by the success of others’. The success of others’ should actually be an encouragement for you to keep going. You have to fight everything in your being that is telling you to stop.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Mostproductions LLC. is an indie production company that strives to create works of film and creative projects. I started my brand because I didn’t have someone to “put me on”..I decided that if I wanted to be successful, I needed to show others what I could do. I could put myself out there and not wait on people to do it for me. I have completed a short film.. Also, I have a series and another film in the works. I am first and foremost a writer, so I want to show more of that through what I do as well. My journey has not/is not easy. I battle negative thoughts in my mind that ask daily “what am I doing it all for”.. In order to continue when it gets hard, when people you never thought would turn, turn their back on you; when people don’t show up or clap like you thought they would, you have to remember what your doing it for. I am my parents only kid and as the black sheep of everything I ever was a part of, I have a legacy to build. I have always been an underdog. I am determined to break generational curses so that those that come after me can have hope because I helped pave the way for them.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love atl. Bonfire is a magical experience like no other that occurs on Sundays. There are artists, performers, businesses, and caterers that promote their works there. Furthermore, I would take them to a dance class because the dance scene in ATL is like no other. Furthermore, we would go to the art district and find a bite to eat while walking and chatting. I love going to the West End mall. West End isn’t fancy, but the people in the shops are real and genuine. I would also take my friend to get her makeup done with @mua.rarasantino who does makeup in a shop in West End. The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Everyone that I have ever encountered deserves a shoutout; even the ones that turned out to be against me. Without everyone.. including the naysayers, I wouldn’t have been pushed to my highest potential. I would like to thank my mom and dad and my closest friends for supporting me. Though I feel, the person I owe the highest praise is God. Without him I am nothing. literally.
