Meet Gabby Dawson | Owner of Blooming Faith Montessori Preschool

We had the good fortune of connecting with Gabby Dawson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gabby, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
I believe one of the most important things I’ve done as a parent is showing my daughter what it looks like to work hard and persevere through difficult seasons. I want her to see that challenges are a part of life, but they don’t define us—our response does. Through both the good days and the hard ones, I strive to model joy in work, gratitude, and a deep reliance on faith. My hope is that she grows up understanding that with God’s guidance, perseverance, and a grateful heart, she can walk through anything with strength and purpose.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business, Blooming Faith Montessori, was created with a deep desire to provide a nurturing, faith-based environment where children can grow not only academically, but also emotionally and spiritually. What sets us apart is our intentional focus on blending Montessori principles with faith, character development, and hands-on, real-life learning. I want children to leave our program not only prepared for school, but also rooted in kindness, confidence, gratitude, and a love for learning.

What I am most proud of is the heart behind what we do. Every detail—from our environment to our curriculum—is designed with purpose and care. Watching children grow in independence, curiosity, and confidence is incredibly rewarding, and it reminds me daily why I started this journey.

Getting here was not easy. Like any business, there have been challenges—balancing time, navigating growth, and overcoming unexpected obstacles along the way. I’ve learned to lean heavily on my faith, stay consistent even when it’s hard, and trust the process, even when the results aren’t immediate.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that growth takes time, patience, and perseverance. There are seasons of planting and seasons of harvesting, and both are equally important. I’ve also learned the value of community, support, and staying aligned with the vision God has placed on my heart.

What I want the world to know about my brand is that it is built on faith, love, and purpose. Blooming Faith Montessori is more than just a school—it’s a place where children are seen, valued, and encouraged to bloom into who they were created to be.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting for a week, I would want to give them a mix of iconic experiences, great food, and time to just enjoy the atmosphere. I would definitely start with a visit to the Fox Theatre, which is such a beautiful and historic Atlanta landmark—seeing a show there is always a memorable experience.

We would spend time at The Battery, where there’s a great mix of energy, food, and entertainment. It’s such a fun place to walk around, grab a bite, and just enjoy the vibe. I would also take them to Puttshack for a fun, interactive night out—it’s such a unique and entertaining experience.

For something a little more peaceful, I would take them to the Atlanta Botanical Garden. It’s one of my favorite places to slow down, enjoy nature, and appreciate how beautifully it’s designed.

We would spend time exploring Ponce City Market, which has amazing food options and a lively atmosphere, and we’d also walk along the BeltLine trail to experience the city in a really fun and unique way.

I would also include a visit to the Georgia Aquarium, which is truly one of the most impressive aquariums and such a fun and meaningful experience to share.

Overall, I love showing people how Atlanta offers such a rich mix of culture, nature, food, and fun—all in one place.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to give a special shoutout to my husband. He has always believed in me and encouraged every dream without hesitation or doubt. He consistently cheers me on through both the challenges and the victories, and he has a way of reminding me of my strengths even on the days I struggle to see them myself. His unwavering support, encouragement, and belief in what I’m building have been a huge part of my confidence and success. I’m incredibly grateful to have him walking alongside me in this journey.
