We had the good fortune of connecting with Lina Cely and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lina, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
As a Hispanic woman, I’ve always been driven by necessity and a strong motivation to learn new things. God has allowed me to live in different countries and experience diverse cultures, which helped me develop skills and learn to use different tools along the way.

I’m blessed to have great mentors who support me in every way: God, my husband, my parents, my financial mentor, my pastor, and close friends (including Paola). Without them, I wouldn’t be able to accomplish anything.

We identified a clear opportunity: families deeply need time to relax and have peace of mind, but due to the fast pace and mobility of life in this country, it’s difficult to intentionally set aside that time.

That’s where Betul Cleaning Services was born, not just to provide cleaning, but to create moments of wellness, rest, and quality relaxation for families.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My life has been a continuous journey of taking risks, from living in different countries such as Colombia, Spain, Mexico, and the United States, to launching and developing multiple projects along the way.

In every decision, I choose to surrender the process to God. I pray and ask for His guidance, trusting that He leads each step. God, my husband, my family, and my team are the essential pillars in my life. I firmly believe that everything is stronger and more meaningful when it is built as a team.

I have learned that when you live with purpose and a clear vision, giving up becomes difficult. Strategies may change, processes may evolve, and even projects may shift, but when purpose, vision, and faith in God remain strong, your destination stays secure. This has been my formula for moving forward. At times, knowing when to step back may depend on external factors such as economic conditions, health, or physical limitations, but never on fear.

Success, to me, is the balance between God, family, work, and service, in that order.
You cannot thrive in one area of life while neglecting the others. Life is filled with challenges, and the journey is not easy, but true success is found in the discipline to walk through those challenges, embrace the difficult moments, and celebrate the victories along the way.

One of my greatest motivations is leaving a legacy for my son, showing him through action that dreams can be built, pursued, and made real.

At Betul Cleaning Services, our mission is to make a difference. It’s not just about cleaning; it’s about creating value, teaching, sharing, and empathizing with the families we serve. We do not offer standard services. We provide personalized solutions tailored to each client’s needs, built on trust, transparency, and care.

With Betul, clients don’t simply receive a service, they experience something truly memorable.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to take a moment to recognize two women who have played a meaningful role in my journey.

First, Paola, a true friend and constant support since I arrived in this country. Her encouragement has pushed me to keep going even in challenging seasons. She manages my social media and website with excellence, but beyond her professional role, she has been a source of motivation, clarity, and genuine friendship.

I would also like to thank Sarah, who has been a long-time client and has always treated me with respect and dignity. A significant part of my growth is thanks to her trust and support. As a recognized influencer in the Atlanta area, her recommendations and visibility on social media have been instrumental in helping Betul Cleaning Services reach new families and opportunities.

Both Pao and Sarah have been an essential part of my growth, and I am deeply grateful for their support. I am honored to recognize them in this edition.
