We had the good fortune of connecting with The ToNe Atlanta and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi the ToNe, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
Well, where I am from is in my name, Atlanta. To be specific, East Atlanta: Moreland Ave, Cloverdale Dr, Powell Ct, Lomita Dr, David Dr (that’s Forest Park) just to give a few references of my roots. Some would say the, “Ghetto” some would say the Hood, but I’ve learned that everyone has different points of view, and to me, it’s Home. It gave me my soul, my passion, my grit, my hustle, it gave me a sense being. So, that’s why I put it in my name: “the ToNe Atlanta”

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Right now, I’m currently working on 2 albums to be released January 24th, 2026. One Gospel and the other, my kingdom, R&B. I’m excited because I have released a couple of Gospel singles, never a full album. The Gospel album will be titled, “In the Mawnin’/Morning”. The R&B album is titled, “Ghetto.” Both will have features from up and coming artists as well as artist that have established there names and craft. I will be doing the production, but who knows what names will be collaborating with me.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well, I’m a Wednesday night party fella. I like to get it in the middle of the week. So Sunday, we starting at Global Impact Christian Ministries. Gotta get the word, Monday, is chill, something shuttle, maybe Patio. Tuesday, we eating oysters at Frank’s Old Mill in Fayetteville. I love oysters!!! Aphrodisiac me all day baby!!! Afterwards, we’ll go to the movies. Now Wednesday, we gotta find fish and grits somewhere, so, more than likely, we headed out East, Flat Shoals, Gutbuster’s. Then around 1115ish, we hitting Backstage for live music. We will leave there after an hour or 2, we headed to the disco/rave at MJQ at Underground Atlanta. They really play disco music!!!! We are gonna dance til the Thursday morning. Waffle House is how we start our Wednesday night/Thursday morning recovery. Depending on the heat we will go to the Aquarium or Botanical Gardens. I love to see beautiful things. Friday maybe pizza night, either Grant Central in East Atlanta on Glenwood or Edgewood Pizza on Auburn Ave. Since we will be right there, we’ll end the night at Glenwood, Graveyard, or somewhere on that strip. Now I used to be a strip club man, but they close too early. After hours possibly at Voo 2 or the now opened late Central Station. Saturday I’m cooking!!!!! Breakfast and dinner because we not home from Friday’s indulgence til 10 am. Saturday night is up in the air. The city is wide open. That’ll be a week with the ToNe Atlanta.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
More than anything, I would like to thank Jesus, My Lord and Savior, and the One True Living God more than anyone else, but besides those two, of course my team (Mr. B4M, MraldChyld [in the m********f******* building}, A Dynamic Duo, my mother, my partners in crime, Loe.ki & Matinée), I’d like to thank……the ToNe Atlanta!!!! I’ve put in work for years, from bad contracts, to crooked executives, crooked labels, and I still came out Gold!!!! This industry tried to destroy my name, but guess what I fought through it. If it wasn’t for my team, no, not my team, my family being there keeping me level headed, I was able to stay focused.
