We had the good fortune of connecting with Paola Miranda-Pizzi and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Paola, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
There are things in this business that I’m still learning every day, but that’s the beauty of it. There are so many steps and details behind the scenes that others would have no idea about, especially everything that goes into a song, a music video, a performance. But it’s a beautiful illusion; we as artists work hard every single day to present our audience with our absolute best product.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m a huge homebody, so can’t say I know the best places to go to but I always take everyone that visits to downtown. Have to see Coca Cola World and the Aquarium of course. Little Five Points for some nice vintage shopping and Lenox Mall for some fancier shopping. We have to do an escape room, my favorite being “Mastermind Escape Games” in Sandy Springs. As far as food, we’re going to “La Casita” for some authentic Mexican, “Old South Bar-B-Q” for the best BBQ, and Ponce City Market and the Beltline for variety.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
This is the cliche answer, but my family and friends deserve a shoutout. I started my artistic journey very young, and my family supported me from day one wholeheartedly. They’re my biggest fans truly. My friends, also, push me every day to be a better artist and business woman. A lot of them have also taken on roles on my team to ensure my success. My best friend, Jordan Alexandra, has even been featured on one of my songs.
