We had the good fortune of connecting with Haylee Warner and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Haylee, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I am a seasonal wellness guide, using the life science of Ayurveda. All this means is that I help individuals and small groups learn how to curate their life (sights, smells, tastes, touch) to feel their best. I didn’t “come up” with this idea at all; honestly, each one of us has the innate capacity to do this for yourself. I decided to create a personal business of this because I realized how far I had gone from feeling balanced. Once I discovered Ayurveda, I not only felt better in my body, but I felt more in touch with the cycles of nature, my body and even relationships. Given our fast paced world, and quick fixes that cost I felt compelled to share this path to wellness – it is holistic, intuitive and affordable. You literally need nothing more than the curiosity to learn and the spices in your cabinet. My courses and coaching offer a lens through which you can view your world—helping you ebb and flow with life’s changes while learning to balance in a way that honors your unique complexity.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I believe in the power of cycles—of life and death, destruction and growth, light and dark—and how each one has something to teach us. I see these patterns in nature, in the body, in art, and in community. That lens is what sets my work apart. Whether I’m guiding a client through seasonal wellness practices or diving into a performance piece I view the body and identity as a complex system with many critical pieces to understand.

Professionally, I didn’t take a straight path, I don’t believe healing or artistic work operates that way either. I started studying holistic health as a way to care for myself outside of the Medical-Industrial Complex. I wanted to understand my body and nervous system from the inside out. Yoga became my grounding practice, then Ayurveda, then mindfulness, and eventually, teaching and guiding others who also wanted to live in a way that aligned with their inner wisdom. Alongside that journey, I have worked as many as 8 gig jobs at once -at the same time, I am a performance artist to help process the tensions of the world and my own emotions. Those two paths, wellness and artistry, aren’t separate for me. They are both tools for remembering, for resisting, and for reconnecting.

Today, I live and work on Muscogee land (Atlanta), where I offer seasonal wellness programs rooted in Ayurveda, trauma-sensitive mindfulness, and everyday tools as simple as the spices in your kitchen or the breath in your lungs. I also continue to explore my artistic practice. What I want the world to know about me and my brand is this: You have the capacity to heal yourself and to live without compromise. My work is here to help you remember that—and to give you real, grounded tools to live it.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Seeing as I am very new to Atlanta, I am not sure I have much to offer in terms of favorite spots in the city…I have been using Bumble BFF to meet some cool people and often meet up at Just Add Honey, a cute tea and herbal shop along the belt line. I also love to hike at SweetWater Creek or get a cute cocktail at Bon Ton.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate this Shoutout to my teacher, Dr. Naina Marballi, of Ayurveda’s World in NYC. Without her lived experience, expert guidance and hands on instruction I would have never been able to embody the wisdom of this medicine.
