Hi Alondra, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Starting my own business was driven by a mix of passion, independence, and the desire for financial freedom. I wanted to create something of my own that aligned with my skills and interests while also giving me control over my time and income. After doing my research in the market, I knew I could provide professional and upscale services. More importantly, I wanted to build a brand that not only stands out but also delivers an upscale experience. that leaves a lasting impression. My goal has always been to combine quality, creativity, and exceptional service to create unforgettable moments for my clients while growing a business that reflects my vision and values.

Social Booth is a luxury photo booth rental business that specializes in transforming events into unforgettable experiences. We are committed to delivering exceptional service, ensuring that every guest leaves with a beautifully captured keepsake that brings joy each time they look back on it.

While aesthetics are important to our brand, what truly sets us apart is our dedication to quality. Every detail—from the clarity of our photos and videos to the premium supplies we use—is carefully selected to provide the best possible experience. We believe that capturing moments should be done with excellence, ensuring that every snapshot reflects the magic and energy of the event.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When someone visits Georgia, my go-to starting point is Pleasant Hill in Gwinnett County, it’s packed with authentic restaurants and cafes that truly showcase the area’s diverse food scene. I’m obsessed with the soufflé pancakes at Cafe 104, they’re light, fluffy, and absolutely delicious! Next stop? Avalon in Alpharetta. It’s the perfect mix of upscale shopping, great vibes, and fantastic dining. I always make a reservation at Rumi’s Kitchen or at The Cape, and follow it up with a sweet treat from Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams. Their flavors are always on point!
No trip is complete without experiencing Atlanta’s best spots. At the top of my list is Wagyu Steakhouse. Between the melt-in-your-mouth steaks, craft cocktails, and the unbeatable rooftop view, it’s an absolute must. Other gems I love taking visitors is Ponce City Market and The Battery Atlanta!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I vividly remember sharing my business idea with my mom and feeling hesitant about getting started. Her encouraging words boosted my confidence and motivated me to take the leap.

Not even 24 hours later, she called to let me know that she had already lined up two events for me within three weeks. I was left speechless; I didn’t even have any equipment, supplies, or a website yet. Thankfully, my experience and knowledge allowed me to create my website in just one day and gather all the supplies I needed for my first event.

My mom, a social butterfly with numerous connections, played a crucial role in helping me secure those initial events. I want to give a big shoutout to my mom for pushing me to take the plunge and to my old friend Jen, who believed in me from the start and helped me get my first bookings! These incredible women highlight the importance of networking and provided me with the opportunity to establish my name.
