Today we’re excited to be connecting with Katya Vilchyk again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.

Katya , we are so thrilled to be connecting again and can’t wait to hear about all the amazing things you have been up to. Before we jump into all of that, some of our readers might have missed our prior interview, so can you take a moment to reintroduce yourself?
i’m katya, a personal branding photographer and marketing specialist dedicated to helping entrepreneurs and professionals create strategic, high-impact visuals. i don’t just take photos—I craft a brand experience that tells your story, connects with your audience, and elevates your business.

what sets me apart? my process. i guide my clients through a seamless, intentional approach that ensures their brand visuals aren’t just beautiful but effective. from in-depth strategy calls to curated shot lists, every detail is designed to position you as the expert you are.

i’m most proud of the transformation my clients experience—not just in their photos but in the confidence they gain when they see their brand represented at the level it deserves. whether it’s a corporate team, a creative entrepreneur, or a national brand, my goal is always the same: to create imagery that works for you, helping you attract the right clients and grow your business with purpose.

Awesome, so we reached out because we wanted to hear all about what you have been up to since we last connected.
I finally have a studio of my own, and it’s been a game changer! It’s a bright, naturally lit space that I use for my own branding and product shoots, but I also rent it out to other creatives who need a beautiful, versatile setting. It’s got everything I need to make shoots seamless—great light, thoughtfully designed setups, and just the right vibe. Whether I’m working with clients or letting other photographers and brands bring their vision to life here, it’s been amazing to have a dedicated space that just works.

We also want to give folks a chance to get to know you a bit better so we’ve prepared a fun lightning round of questions. Ready?

What are you most excited about in the coming year?
I’m at a point where everything is evolving—my team, my studio, and my role. It’s exciting to grow beyond just being behind the camera and step fully into the creative director role, shaping the vision, refining the strategy, and making sure every project is executed at the highest level. Building a team and expanding the studio business means more collaboration, more creativity, and more opportunities to bring bold ideas to life. This next chapter is all about scale, impact, and doing what I love on a bigger level—and I can’t wait to see where it leads.
