We had the good fortune of connecting with Juliann Dewitt-smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Juliann, what’s the most difficult decision you’ve ever had to make?
Throughout life, we all face difficult decisions, both big and small. For me several come to mine, but one of the most challenging was sharing my artwork others. The fear of judgment and lack of confidence in my creativity held me back. It’s easy to let self-doubt keep us from moving forward, but with the encouragement of family and friends, I took the leap. And doing so I realize that my fears were unfounded– they will always be someone who appreciates what you create.
Another difficult yet necessary decision was looking in word, confronting my own flaws and making meaningful changes. True self reflection requires honesty and while it isn’t always easy it’s essential for growth.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As a child, I always have lived in a world of fantasy. I remember being captivated by The Hobbit and other tales filled with dragons wizards and fairies that have stayed with me throughout my life.
When I first heard about a series featuring dragons and dragon eggs I was eager to explore it however, after discovering how expensive the dragon eggs were, I decided to create my own, the decision sparked something special. I design the eyes and each egg by hand developed an entire collection, each one unique made with care and price reasonable, so others could enjoy them as well
I also create art from wood, but I cannot take full credit as the soul creator. Mother nature has already woven her magic into every branch and grain.
My role is to enhance her work, breathing new life into each piece and creating stories that spark wonder in both children and adults, I also sew delicate fairy dolls, build enchanting fairy beds from forest sticks and leaves . My creations are filled with whimsical design to inspire imagination and joy.
Writing and telling stories weaving worlds where magic feels real, and creation has a tale to tell.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I could take my best friend on an ultimate adventure, we’d set off on a week – or maybe even two in an RV, embracing the open road with no set destination, just a love for discovery.

Our journey would take us through charming, small towns where we meet new people savor cuisine at family owned restaurants and soak in the character of each unique place.
One of my favorite stops would be devils Tower in Wyoming a breathtaking monolith, rising majestically from the landscape of the Black Hills.
The Grand Canyon‘s vast all inspiring depths, the towering ancient trees of the redwoods, the glaciers of the Yellowstone and the rugged beauty of Yosemite, each offering a glimpse into the untamed majesty of nature.
But why stop there we chase the whispers of the past through eerie Ghost Town’s ,explore historic graveyards and revel in the lively energy of New Orleans, indulging in its legendary cuisine.
Coast to coast, this country is filled with incredible people hidden gems and unforgettable sites. The real question isn’t where we would go it’s where wouldn’t we go because with an open road ahead, the possibilities are endless.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Throughout my 70 years of life, the greatest influences have undoubtedly been my children and grandchildren. They have stood by me through countless trials and tribulations, teaching me in valuable lessons in love, patience, and resilience. They are the foundation of my world, shaping my journey in ways I could never have imagined.
Equally significant are two women in my life . Caroline and Barbara they are more like sisters. They’re unwavering support has been a source of strength through both life‘s challenges and its moments of intense joy and peace. Their presence have enriched my life, in way words cannot fully express.
