We had the good fortune of connecting with Rothstein Beatz and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Rothstein, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success as Rothstein Beatz is consistency, without a doubt. I’ve learned that showing up daily, developing my sound, and dropping unique beats are key to staying relevant in the music industry. It’s not just about making fire tracks — it’s about building relationships, networking, and maintaining integrity in everything you do.
And remember, the grind doesn’t stop.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As Rothstein Beatz, my art is all about blending unique sounds and emotions to create music that truly connects with people. I love experimenting with different genres and styles, but I always stay true to my sound. What sets me apart is my focus on authenticity — I’m not just chasing trends, I’m creating vibes that resonate. What I’m most proud of is the relationships I’ve built through my music. Seeing artists come alive over my beats and knowing I’m helping them bring their vision to life is the best feeling.
Getting to where I am today definitely wasn’t easy. There were plenty of late nights, moments of doubt, and times where I felt stuck. But I realized that staying consistent, being open to learning, and pushing through those hard moments was key. I overcame challenges by constantly improving my craft, studying the game, and connecting with people who share the same passion and drive. Every setback taught me something, and those lessons made me better.
The biggest thing I’ve learned is that talent alone isn’t enough — integrity, trust, and real connections matter just as much. People want to work with someone who’s not only talented but also reliable and genuine. The grind never stops, but when you stay true to yourself and your sound, the right opportunities find you.
I want people to know that Rothstein Beatz is more than just a name or a brand. It’s about passion, persistence, and the belief that music has the power to bring people together. My story is still unfolding, and I’m excited about what’s next.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting for a week, we’d have to make sure they experience the best of what Atlanta has to offer!
Day 1 – Downtown Vibes
We’d kick things off with brunch at Milk & Honey — their chicken and waffles are something you have to have in the A. After that, we’d head to Ponce City Market for some shopping and hit the rooftop at 9 Mile Station for drinks and skyline views. Later, hit the nightlife on Edgewood Avenue. Spots like Cru or Our Bar always have a cool, laid-back vibe with great music.
Day 2 – Music and Culture
You can’t visit Atlanta without tapping into its music scene. We’d start at the Trap Music Museum —to experience the culture. Then, we’d check out Little Five Points for vintage shops, street art, and records at Criminal Records. For dinner, we’d hit Busy Bee Cafe for some soul food. To wrap up the night, we’d catch a show at Aisle 5 or Apache XLR
Day 3 – Chill and Vibe
Pull up to Piedmont Park, walk around, and check out the area. Afterward, we’d grab some food and then for the evening, a comedy show. Chill vibes all day.
Day 4 – Studio and Nightlife
Of course, I’d take them to the studio. We’d spend the day creating and letting them see what goes into making a beat. Afterward, we’d grab burgers at Slutty Vegan — you can’t leave Atlanta without trying it. Then we’d hit up Magic City or Blue Flame for a night out. The energy in those spots is just different.
Day 5 – Foodie Adventure
This day is all about food. We’d start with breakfast at Atlanta Breakfast Club, hit Taqueria Del Sol for tacos at lunch, and finish with dinner at Gunshow. We’d end the night with drinks and games at The Painted Pin. Bowling, good vibes, and drinks.
Day 6 – We Outside
We’d get outside and hit Stone Mountain for a hike and some dope views. For dinner, we’d grab seafood at The Optimist and finish with rooftop drinks at SkyLounge to take in the city lights.
Day 7 – Arts and Farewell
On the last day, we’d keep it chill. Maybe hit up the High Museum of Art or walk the Atlanta BeltLine to check out murals and street performers. We’d have one last meal at Mary Mac’s Tea Room. Then we’d just hang out, listen to some records, and enjoy the city.
Atlanta’s got it all — food, music, art, and culture. The energy here is contagious, and I’d make sure my friend leaves with a real ATL vibe.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a special shout-out to my father, Sanders Harris, for always giving me the right advice and guiding me through life. To this day, he continues to mentor and support me, and I’m forever grateful for his wisdom and love.
