Meet Vivian Roan | Entrepreneur, Youtuber & You’re favorite Sewist!

We had the good fortune of connecting with Vivian Roan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Vivian, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
Success is simply, peace. I’ve had a lifetime of experiences, and I just hit 30. I’ve learned that people will come, people will go, life will change with the seasons, and the only thing you can truly control is your peace. When you have reached the point in your life where nothing or no one thing can affect your peace, you have TRULY learned what it’s like to be successful in all things not a few things.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m most proud of well my growth. Of course I could say my business and my youtube journey but before all of that I had to learn, in order to work on the dream career, the dream personal life, and the healthy relationships you have to first love YOU. If it wasn’t for me taking out the time to truly learn what I want in this life, who I want to become, what impact I want to have, what legacy I want to leave, what I want to be known for, what I want my future kids to hold on to, I would have never learned how to just be reallyvivian. I realized you know in this life I can either be PERFECT or I can just be Vivian and I can accept that she is AMAZING in her imperfectness, she doesn’t have it all figured out, she may not get it right on the first try but baby she is NOT giving up, no matter how much life throws at her, no matter how many times she might tumble she remains, steadfast.

I created my youtube channel to spread love and joy, to spread awareness of God’s love first but also to show the life of a normal girl not going through life but LIVING through life. No one person is perfect, no one dollar amount will ever be enough for a lifetime but I truly believe life can change in an instance if you just well, BELIEVE.

So I create content each week, I run my handmade business Sewextraordinary from my home studio and I get up everyday and make the decision to LIVE. Every day isn’t perfect but we’re all able to look forward to our tomorrow and that is what I hold on to. Don’t spend so much time worrying about today, have faith in your tomorrow. So I fight to be joyous, to smile at strangers, to spark random conversations, to make people laugh even when they feel they have absolutely nothing left to laugh about. I’m so proud to be just ME, nothing more, nothing less and nothing else.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Jesus is who I want to shout out because without him I wouldn’t be able to function. Life was chaotic every other week/month before I really tapped into loving him FULLY with my shattered into a million pieces heart lol. I fell in love with him and he truly put me back together, added in some new faith, pure love, hope and joy, and completely changed my life. I continue to learn how courageous I am, how empowered I make others feel, the impact I have just by being my AUTHENTIC self, how I always wanted to see everyone reach their full potential but could never see myself reaching my own. It was Jesus that held me up when I was ready to fall, it was Jesus who pushed me to create, to be, to love, to see that I was MORE than capable of ALL things not a few things, and for that, I will NEVER not give him his flowers baby!
