We had the good fortune of connecting with Christine Mccormick-harris and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Christine, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
It was November 2019, and I’d just found out that my sister was pregnant with the first baby of the family. I knew then that my life and my schedule needed to change. My sister was currently living in Northern California and my current work situation was Monday through Saturday. On the drive back from my aunt’s house that Thanksgiving, I turned ot my wife and said, “I think I’m going to resign.”
While I had no idea exactly what I was going to do, What became evident was that the jig was up – exchanging my time for money was no longer going to work for me.
In December of 2019 I submitted my letter of resignation, allotting the company I was working for 6 months to find, hire and train my replacement. Let me tell you, EVERYONE told me I was crazy – that the standard notice to give a job was minimally 2 weeks. Didn’t matter to me – I wasn’t trying to get out of dodge, I was creating a foundation from which the next chapter of my life was going to be launched.
In March of 2020, the Pandemic hit, and I was among the many who were laid off. The company took such great care of me, ensuring that I received EVERYTHING I was entitled to, including the COVID Stimulus which was sent to anyone whose employment was impacted specifically as a result of COVID.
That money enabled me to take my time, sampling various entrepreneurial opportunities. From Performance Coaching to video editing and production, to Ride Share, to Estate Management – I tried it all. everything was a fit – yet nothing was IT. So, I started 2 business ventures: dot.COMH Coaching and dot.COMH Productions.
After a year or so of this combined with Ride Share, I kept receiving requests from the people in my life for other services they knew I could provide, thus opening back up the opportunity for my business to be so much more. And so, with that, Christine’s Blessing, LLC was formulated. Why Christine’s Blessing? Well, in mythology, seeing a unicorn is considered to bring good luck and fortune to the gazer, ergo seeing a herd of unicorns would be a blessing.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a creative and an entrepreneur with a passion for helping others. I offer a variety of products, including affordable and free downloads.
My website offers a smorgasbord of customizable resources, free offerings and products designed to make you SHINE!
As a consumer, I want to spend my money with businesses that put my needs for their products first.
As an entrepreneur, that’s my only goal. most of the products I offer ARE free to download when you sign-up for my newsletter.
All of the businesses I promote on my site are businesses that, while doing business with, I personally experienced this level of consumer care. That is the main reason they are included in the many blessings available at Christine’s Blessing.
The second reason is, of course, to get paid for the things I’m ALREADY doing, like shopping with and promoting the businesses I love! Most, if not all, of the free downloads and free offerings that are digital designs I made for my own personal use and am now sharing with the world!
Either way you can be sure the customizable products and services you’ll receive will match YOUR needs and pockets!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
One of the most important people in my life is my wife, Alaina. Over the years, she has stood for me to be great. From my battle with alcoholism to my commitment to making a difference in the lives of others, she has been vital in in my success.
From making sure I eat, to kicking my butt when I’m being a douche, without Alaina by my side, greatness would be some place to get to versus who I am now.
Countless times she has set aside her wants and needs to be there for me. I’m excited to finally be in a position to launch her into her next chapter in life!
