We had the good fortune of connecting with Rebecca Chin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rebecca, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
The dedication and consistency it require to become the best

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My name is Rebecca Par The Chin from Burma. I am currently pursuing Business Administration and Exercises Science and serving in Reserve Army here at Indiana. I am a Burmese, Chin, it is safe to say I would be the first Burmese, Chin bodybuilder to make it to Olympia and Arnold Stage. In November, 2016, my family and I moved to United States and recite in Indiana and never moved since then but I have always wanted to travel across the world if I have chance. I was only 88lbs, 4’11 a skinny high school girl, in 2017, on a sunny day as I drove down the meridian street in my hometown, I saw a planet fitness gym and I stopped and get a membership and the rest is history. In 2020, I started my bodybuilding career and I had no ideas about the sports and the discipline it require to become successful in this career. The most challenging part of being an athlete in this sport is the discipline it require in my diet and the crucial role it played in winning and losing my competition. One thing I learned from this sport is honing my cooking skills, I had never had to cooked before I compete, mama always cooked and feed me but that changed as I have to control everything I put in my meal as calories matters. I want the world to know I am the first Burmese, Chin to made it to the prestige Professional League

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to my gym (AMF) and take them through a fire leg day, then take them to my favorite Burmese Restaurant Yangon. Places that I would take them that are non-bodybuilding would be handles’s homemade ice cream and brown county, especially in the fall, Brown county has the most beautiful scenery. There is nothing much to do around in Indy but the city have everything I need as far as elite gym and grocery store.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My Significant other had been a huge role in my success both in my business and bodybuilding career
