We had the good fortune of connecting with Rebecca Rice and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Rebecca, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
People have a desire for real life and honesty in a way that lets them know they aren’t alone. The success of my brand is pushed by my vulnerability and living a life that shows the fluctuations of life while also maintaining joy in the process.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I have always been in the business of relationships. It started initially with singles ministry but once I opened it up to all humans with hearts, it gave me greater access to the pains and dreams of everyone. What makes me set apart is giving others the opportunity of being one on one with me, even if there are a hundred others in the room. I give a listening ear and safety ensuring that what is said to me stays with me. My greatest lesson along the way has been learning to guard my heart. As we all know, everyone doesn’t have the best intentions but with boundaries and a good pace, I’ve been able to help others while keeping myself safe.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
A week with me will be the best time. We would start with a hike on one of the local mountains, leave there and grab bunch. After brunch we would go for massages and end the evening at our local Mexican restaurant. Throughout the week we would do some touristy things around the city like checking out the art scene, enjoy music in the park of live music at a local hole in the wall.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have been blessed with an amazing support group that includes my husband, best friends, family and my social media followers
