We had the good fortune of connecting with LC Gosey III and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi LC, what do you attribute your success to?
I believe the most important factors to my brand’s success is staying true to myself and what my brand represents, remaining humble, and being a continuous learner of the fashion industry. Like any skill you must spend time and dedication to your craft in order to be successful. My brand is built on faith, hard work, and believing that we all have a purpose that we can achieve as long as we don’t let outside influences distract or scare us. In order to promote it, I must first live by it. I believe my brand’s success and future success will always be contingent on me remaining true and never forgetting the meaning of Ten19!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What I think separates me most from other brands is authenticity. My brand was created around the verse Luke 10:19 which promotes self empowerment, encourages us to not be fearful, and to just essentially keep faith. All of our designs are originally hand drawn each having underlying message that always promotes the meaning of Ten19. I feel like a lot of brands are only in it to make money, not for their brand’s meaning or for the people. They just put designs on current fashion trends and sell it but not us. This is what separates me and makes me different, Ten19 has a meaning and will leave a mark that can’t be erased.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Some of my favorite spots for great food are – Xtrereme Teriyaki hibachi, that’s my favorite place to go for hibachi it’s better than any experience hibachi place Atl offers -Big Dave’s, you have to try the Philly cheesesteak eggrolls!

One thing I always recommend to do for fun is go to a Hawks game !! Let’s go hawks !

Yes, I have to give a ton of credit to the Ten19 co-founder Tree and the rest of the Ten19 family and friends. The brand would be nothing if not for the people that have been with us since day 1. They are my biggest supporters and motivation to keep going!
