We had the good fortune of connecting with Tamera Hollis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tamera, what do you attribute your success to?
Remaining humble is a significant factor & something that I have always taken pride in. Being a successful lash technician has its advantages of fast money, especially during my peak seasons. Still, I always make sure I put money aside for rainy days. I pray that god continues to bless my business so I can always be in a position to help others throughout my community

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart from other lash technician is the quality of work I perform for my clients! As well as the homegirl relationship I give my FLY GIRLS!

When my clients enter my salon, I want it to be more of an experience for them and less than just a service.

For example, for Mother’s Day, I made sure all my clients that are mothers felt loved while getting their lashes done. I provided mimosas and roses for every one of them. It made my heart so full to see the smiles on their faces when I told them I was giving them $ 10 off for Mother’s Day

Everyone wants to do lashes, but it’s not just about the lashes themselves being a successful lash technician. It’s about the marketing to get new clients & what are you going do differently than the next lash technician to keep them?

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
When it comes to a good time, I love to have it! I’m like a social butterfly, so trust and believe I can turn any place into a party! When I’m not lashing, I love to grab something good to eat as long as they have a hookah nearby. One place I know I’ll always have a good time at is La Chingada. The food is fantastic, and the music & hookah is 10/10. After that, I like to hang out with my girls until we get tired of each other

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I first have to shout out to GOD first for blessing my business and always guiding me to be a better businesswoman than I was yesterday

Secondly, I would have to thank my parents for being my backbone & cheerleaders from the beginning.

Lastly, to my clients! THE REAL FLY GIRLS
Without them, my business is nothing. From tagging me, reposting my work, and referring others to me. Every one of them are my celebrity clients
