Meet Tareta Lynette | Author & Content Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tareta Lynette and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tareta, what inspires you?
I am inspired by my purpose. Although my assignments for my purpose in each season may be different, living with a purpose and on purpose has always inspired me. I believe we were all born destined to be a light to one another. No matter what a person’s unique function on earth is, it will always require your willingness and full participation to attain it. Things may not always be perfect in that place of purpose, but when you are walking in purpose, there is a true level of fulfillment that comes. You feel a sense of peace, that can not be shaken.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Whether I’m offering my creative services to assist others within their business and ministry, or I’m inspiring individuals through my work as an author, my objective is always the same: to motivate and uplift. My latest work, Let It Go: The Relationship Edition Journal (which is an extension of the original book) is designed to act as a guide for anyone who is struggling to move on from a past relationship that no longer serves them.
One of the things I’m most proud and excited about, is being able to continue my inspiration beyond my authorship. I recently launched my YouTube Channel, @ Tareta Lynette, to use as another tool of creativity. It’s a new way for me to elevate individuals from all industries, through a spiritual aspect, in my weekly moments of motivation.
I can never take the credit alone for where I am today. I’m very grateful for my parents, past teachers, close friends, and mentors who have pushed me forward even at the times I wanted to stop moving, and or was positioned to go backwards. My circle of trusted individuals’ belief in me caused me to triumph in areas where I may have faltered. I learned that successfully getting to the next level in life sometimes requires or calls for a group of strong believers to back you up. If there is ever a point in your life where you feel that those dreams in your heart seem impossible to obtain, that army of believers (the people who believe in you), along with God can act as the fuel to your fire to force you to keep striving.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If one of my best friends were to visit, I would have to take them to The Battery Atlanta, where we would spend the entire week. I would reserve rooms at the Omni hotel right next to the Atlanta Braves Stadium. We would get tickets to watch the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park the very first day. For the remaining days of that week, we would go on a discovery hunt through The Battery entertainment community, exploring different restaurants onsite, as well as experiencing some live music and performances from the featured artists.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to recognize my Pastor, Dione Preston. The support and love that she exemplifies for me, and the people she serves inside and outside of our church community, is undeniably a blessing and benefit. Her consistency in showing up as a role model has served as an anchor to help push me to be a better version of myself. The love that flows from her heart constantly is contagious.
