We had the good fortune of connecting with Sam Feigenbaum and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m a photographer that works mainly with musicians and bands. I love shooting live shows for local Atlanta bands, and trying to capture the energy there in the moment. I also really enjoy working on portraits and album covers, collaborating with artists whose medium is distinctly different from visual imagery. It’s always inspiring to work with other artists!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well my wife and I just settled down in Avondale Estates, so gotta give that area some love! My Parents’ Basement is incredible restaurant and bar in the area- it has a full bar, great meat and vegan food options, a comic book store in the restaurant, and a TON of arcade and pinball machines! Definitely check out a show at 37 Main with an incredible venue and more drink options! And maybe even grab a coffee at Banjo Coffee nearby- it’s hard to beat their cold brew coffee!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Always gotta throw a shoutout to my wife, Laura. She pushes me every day to keep the momentum up and work towards my goals. She’s there for my ups and downs, and is truly my greatest confidant and my better half.
