We had the good fortune of connecting with Shamel Solomon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shamel, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
Next Level You is a global Christian based coaching program that focuses on personal development, inner healing, and deliverance. This program has not only helped women in the U.S.A but also Trinidad, and Bermuda as well. With creditable certifications, studying, inner healing, deliverance, and a lifetime of being broken in every way that you can think of, I was able to channel my personal experiences and create different programs to help broken women become whole again. When we are not in our right mind, we can’t see clearly. When the heart is healed, the mind can then be transformed, and with both the world becomes a better place. Healed hearts is what changes the world.

What should our readers know about your business?
Next Level You coaching and inner healing program is a program designed to help broken women go from broken to whole. My focus is to help women from all walks of life tap into their true God given identity that was perverted because of childhood and/or adult trauma. Having empathy and grace when coaching women is what sets me apart, when I coach or minister, I see their future…..not their brokenness. When I am blessed to be seated in front of a broken woman, I am often reminded of what I came out of, and where I am now. It makes me proud to share my past experiences with joy and not shame. I got to where I am today honestly by God Himself. It took a lot of time and studying to find out the character and ways of God, even now there is still a lot to learn. The more I seek God’s face, the more in wisdom I grew, and in wisdom I transformed. It was not easy then and it is not easy now, but I find joy in what I do. I overcome opposition in what I do because this is what God called me to do. When God calls you to a thing, He will see to it that you finish it. Remembering the promises is what keeps me holding on, not friends or family but God’s promises. Along the way, there have been many lessons but there is one that I am reminded of the most. My friend Michelle Farrar gave a testimony one day about Proverbs 10:22. The blessing of the Lord makes one rich and He adds no sorrow to it. My business takes hard work but even in the hard work, I find joy in it and not sorrow. What God appoints us to do, He is sure to reward us with blessings, joy, good fruit, and a richness because of our hard work. When it is not from God, it brings sorrow, heaviness, and no good fruit. If there is anything that I would like the world to know about me or my coaching program is that I only accept imperfect women, none of my curriculums are designed for perfect women. As God’s prophet and deliverer, I am on a mission to set free and deliver as many captivated women that I can. My goal is to leave a legacy of being known for helping fragmented women find the missing puzzle pieces and showing them how to trust God to restore and put the pieces back together again.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Oh my! I love to eat!! If someone special was coming to town, I would definitely like to visit a nice Philly Cheesecake spot! Charlotte’s Creole restaurant is a really good brunch spot in Atlanta, GA on Mitchell Street, they have the best salmon croquettes!! A night time spot that I have not been to in a while is Cafe Intermezzo’s, I love their desserts and the laid back atmosphere. Music is something that I am a fan of too, Sweet Georgia Juke Joint would surely be a good blues spot to go to dance and have a good time! In the future, I do plan to visit the ferris wheel in downtown Atlanta, GA. I’d like to visit some of the museums too.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to shoutout my mother, Dorothy Taylor. She birthed me, cared for me, and taught me. Although I experienced a lot of childhood and adult trauma, my momma was always there. My mom is the reason why I am where I am today. Things we’re not easy growing up but she done the best that she could and I am now the product of what she raised. If I could go back and change things, I would not. What I endured over the course of my life is what qualifies me to help, coach, minister, and deliver broken women. My mother is the best mother ever to live and I thank God that He chose her to birth me. Other people who deserve credit is my Apostle, Sherman Dumas…..Before I became a member of All Nations San Bernardino, California, my Apostle prayed me out of pit every Wednesday night online. I bless my good friend Michelle Farrar for holding my hand during one of the most darkest seasons of my life. My friend Kimberly Mason, I can’t do anything but laugh when I say her name, she has brought so much joy and laughter to my life. My friend Angelia Mitchell holds a very special spot in my heart, she is a woman of purity, integrity, character, and I thank God for that. Shout out to my spiritual mentor Prophet Jennifer Eivaz, I just love her. I promised myself that every time I got an opportunity to bless her publicly I would, there is so much that I could say about her and how she has impacted my life over the last three years. Shout out to my wonderful children, they see me behind closed doors like no one else does during the good days, bad days, loud praying nights, coaching and ministering to women, studying to grow in my gifts, but most of all, they get to see and enjoy me as their mother.
