We had the good fortune of connecting with Kyle Moon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kyle, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
I was born and raised on a large plot of family land in Loganville, Georgia. Growing up, my most significant mentors were my parents and their drive and determination not only for their family but also for their work. My father was an entrepreneur himself, and my Mother served the community in a healthcare position. At a young age, being a leader sparked my interest, and nothing was going to stop me. Throughout my tenure as a student at Walton County Schools, I became close with several peers and faculty members, who excelled in providing me with the needed encouragement and support. I was a leader in E-Learning Technology Adoption at Walton Co. Schools, a member of FBLA, and presented at several Regional and State conferences. I also acted as an overall technology change champion for faculty and peers. Since High School, the support I continued to receive from family, friends, and mentors has pushed me to earn my Bachelor’s Degree in Information technology and Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration. This support, dedication, and encouragement from this vast group of individuals helped me become who I am today and allowed me to continue to improve each day.

What should our readers know about your business?
Winder CNA Training is a local Nurse Aide training provider accredited by the Georgia Department of Community Health. I am most proud to offer this training to local individuals to help improve our community in every way possible. Recently, we moved to our new brick-and-mortar location, where we have ramped up our production of trainees and are expanding into other areas such as EKG Technician, Phlebotomy, Red Cross Training, and more. Throughout the pandemic, I’ve learned that the world is in dire need of caring individuals to work in the healthcare field, and it’s my mission to help alleviate some of that need. I want everyone to know that my business is there to improve the community health of our area and is not just about the bottom line.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
There are some great landmarks in and around the Bogart area. I would highly recommend checking out the local UGA campus and all of its glory, I’d also recommend checking out local healthcare facilities as they are the backbone of community health and employ many of our graduates; they are some of the best around. Traveling outside of the Bogart area will take you into rural Georgia areas, where you’ll see the beauty of nature. It’s simply a sight to see.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I must shout out to my family, friends, current and past colleagues, and everyone who has touched my life over the last several years. Without their continued support and encouragement, I would not have come as far as I have today. Specifically, I’d like to thank a few influential people in my life, those being: My best friends forever, Taylor and Zoe; a fantastic mentor and friend, Gabe; and two teachers and mentors I’ll never forget, Mrs. Crowe and Coach Mac.
