We had the good fortune of connecting with Stephanie Rose and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stephanie, why did you pursue a creative career?
Performing & the creative arts have always been apart of who I am. As a child growing up in foster homes, I always turned to music, singing, dancing, drawing and acting to kind of escape from my harsh reality. By the time I became an adult, I interned for a multi-media company where I was surrounded around creatives developing and telling the stories of other creatives through visual arts. At that point, I realized that I had a gift of telling stories through images & videos while enhancing one’s brand appearance.

What should our readers know about your business?
Towards the end of my internship with a very prominent Multi-Media Firm, my boss came to me and informed me that it was time for me to venture out on my own. I was confused because I’d never thought about starting a business. I was hoping he’d hire me directly. While working on set of a photoshoot, for one of the local radio personalities, he stopped me and said “You’re good with Branding…you can take a simple shoot and elevate it”…..at that time I wasn’t even aware that Branding/ Brand Development was an entire industry. That was over 10years ago. I was reluctant, nervous, and just flat out lost on where to start. Then I met an amazing business attorney and the rest was history.

In 2015, I launched Brandimonium LLC a creative agency focused on start ups. Our philosophy states that just because you’re just starting out or you’re launching your first business, doesn’t mean you have to look like it. New business owners deserve to have the same beautiful brand presentation as any other company that’s been in business for decades.

Over the years, I’ve worked on dozens of new business ventures from Food trucks, to landscaping to Construction Companies. The most rewarding aspect of what I do is seeing the look on my clients faces when they see their ideas come to life through creative design elements.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m an introvert so I’m not the best option if you want to hang out with a city socialite. But when family and friends come to town I make sure to take them to Chicago Pizza Bar in Smyrna which is my personal “Cheers” spot. The cigar bar is great place for networking and the hookah lounge is fun any night of the week. Oh, and can’t forget the Pizza is the best! When I’m feeling Jazzy I go to City Winery…the last event I attended was a Candelight Concert. It was absolutely beautiful! I’m a huge history buff. I spend my free time conducting genealogical research and watching Black History Documentaries. I recently attended a Reparations Summit held at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d first like to acknowledge God who’s the author of my moral compass in life. I want to also send acknowledgments to my sister Katrice, who’s been instrumental in motivating and encouraging me to follow my heart, stay focused on my goals, and to carry myself with dignity & respect. Last but not least, I want to acknowledge my Sonshine (not at typo) Vincent, who’ll be 22 next month. I love you so much and thanks for always supporting your mom even through the tough times.
