We had the good fortune of connecting with Stareka Turner and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stareka, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Starting my business came from me losing weight I use to weigh 310pounds, I was tired of being uncomfortable and wanted a change. I decided to create my own detox watet/tea Line and workout line it help me lose a whopping 100 pounds all natural. I now have a line of waist trainers and waist bands and other items I sell to help women get to their waist snatched and look good doing it. 4evalavish is my band and it originates from me having the TOP quality products that are out on the market. I love providing lavish customer service to all my clients and potential clients. I wanted to separate myself from the other brands and be more personal and lead by example. I never been the skinny type so to more women I’m very relatable that anything is possible you just can’t ever give up on yourself of sell yourself short.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m currently a salon owner. I booth rented from this same salon for 3 year and then became the owner and now it’s called 4evalavish studio. I have amazing women with their own unique stories working with me to become a strong team filled with motivation and inspiration. I wanted to create a vibe in the building where no one felt left behind and we all have our own lanes. The struggle is successfully finding people to work with that don’t get intimidated and dont want to be in competition instead of just being all bosses in one environment. My brand is about living life lavish in your own way. Have the nice things in life you only live once. Have that self care day, take care of your body, look good and you’ll feel good inside and out.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take my friends downtown Greenville to have some drinks a little roof top action.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a shout-out to my daughter. She seen me at my biggest and smallest the only person that had been there every step of the way. She seen me during my learning stage up until now.
