We had the good fortune of connecting with Cartier Lopez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cartier, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Most people know Cartier Lopez as a famous Instagram Influencer, business owner, and over all Public figure. Some new fans may look at her and think these things came easy for us, but day one fans know this is anything but true! This now 27 pound toddler started off as a premature baby weighing just 1 pound! Even though doctors wasn’t sure if should could over come all the challenges life threw at her, me a praying mother knew she would. Cartier’s 3 month hospital stay taught me to have unshakable faith! As I took to social media to share my daughter story, other mothers could relate to us and gave my family a platform. Our brand was built on faith and belief and in my opinion, that’s all you need to start anything with!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I feel that Cartier is a living example of many things! Her social media isn’t just about having style and giving fashion inspiration. Cartier shows that premature babies can reach milestones on time, learning challenges can be overcame with patience, and premature babies are no different from full term babies. Her platform gives hindsight to new mothers who may be having the same concerns I once had. Cartier gives comfort to other mothers, that’s why she has so many virtual family members. We make all our supporters feel close like family!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
A wonderful place to visit in Atlanta would be Piedmont park! This is where we have the best family days. The scenery is beautiful. The park offers attractions for kids and adults. It’s the perfect place to have a picnic, clear your head, or just enjoy the ducks near the pound! After our family day at the park, we grab a bite at The Varsity down the street. What a great way to end the day.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to give a special shoutout to Cartier’s grandmother’s. It’s important to have a strong support system behind you when it comes to raising kids! Cartier grandmothers are beautiful women, they encourage us to follow our dreams without limitations. I dedicate this shoutout to them!
