We had the good fortune of connecting with Bri Garner and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bri, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I started my own business because I saw that there was a lack of resources and help that the general population needed access to. Western medicine doesn’t teach us that we can utilize certain tools that will help heal our bodies. Although there are many benefits to western medicine; building the bridge between western and eastern medicine was the missing link to help heal the people naturally.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I would say I am the most proud of the ability to bring both mentalism and physical healing together. When it comes to healing the body, a lot of people work with the physical aspect; however, the mental work and mental preparation is just as important.

Although I’m not finished, I got to where I am today by fully showing up for myself and being my authentic self. The most challenging aspect that I had to overcome was showing up as myself. The business aspect came easy due to my educational background; however, I had to get comfortable with my natural sale being not as polished as I was “designed“ to be. When I started showing up as myself, that’s when I noticed my business started to grow more and more. I started to get more clients that I did not personally know. I started to expand to different areas of the city and states.

Throughout this journey, I’ve learned so much. Most importantly, I’ve learned to be patient with my business, to be patient with myself, and to be patient with the process. Nothing that’s worth having and holding on to for future generations and the capacity at which we are able to heal ourselves, is going to come easy but I know that this is my calling and I’m ready for the journey.

I want everyone to know that Breeze Sports recovery Therapy is not your average therapeutic treatment. Here, we teach how to connect the mind and body; and how to function as one to create an overall healthier lifestyle. Not only do we attack blockages within the body, but also blockages within the mind. Our mission is to form the bridge, fill in the gaps of so much miss information or the absence of information when it comes to healing ourselves and our bodies. We are able to do this through listening to our clients, being attentive to what’s being said and even what’s not being said, being observant of others and aware of where exactly someone may be experiencing unexplained pain or pain that’s been present for years. We are here to heal both the body and mind.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I had to take Someone on a week long excursion, I will first take them to Krog Street. I love the atmosphere there and they have an array of foods and deserts. I would also take them to hang out at the Crystal Loft, which is an amazing and very calming metaphysical store that have seating. Get fruity cafe is the next stop because they have amazing healthy options. We could go skating outdoors along the belt line or one of the smaller parks. Of course, you can’t do Atlanta without a good brunch. I love Milk & Honey and Suite foos lounge has amazing lobster tails. There are so many good food options here, we would explore majority of those. Lastly I would stop by Just Add Honey, an amazing black owned Tea shop.
