We had the good fortune of connecting with Ivory Cloud and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ivory, what do you want your legacy to be?
I want the Dreams of Lois legacy and the Ivory Cloud legacy to live on for generations to come. Dreams of Lois’ legacy was built on an ideology of breaking boundaries, serving others, and being the best version of yourself that one can be. In life, you will travel through ups and downs, twists and turns, however, at the end of the day we must understand and believe that all will be well. Dreams of Lois believes that if one person shines, we all shine. It takes a village to get to the next phase in life and on that journey, we must help out our others through love and acts of kindness. Dreams of Lois was built on the love our mother had for family and children. We desire for all children to thrive no matter their circumstances. As a striving entrepreneur, I want to inspire the next generation to build a legacy through entrepreneurship and service.

What should our readers know about your business?

The goal of Dreams of Lois is to reach as many families as possible in the community through outreach service projects and mentor young children that have suffered the loss of a parent. What sets us apart is that we focus on the small unmet needs of the community and empower them through love and acts of kindness. Dreams of Lois will launch the Dreams of Lois Summer Academy this summer- June 2022. A two-week summer program with a STEM and Golf foundation. We are pleased to have the support of the World Golf Foundation for this phenomenal program. We are thrilled about bringing this outstanding program to the community to change and inspire lives. The goal of Dreams of Lois is to continue to serve the community through monthly and bi-weekly events of food donations, personal hygiene products, and mentorships to improve the lives of many individuals in need. The Dreams of Lois team believes in living and leaving a legacy for their family through acts of kindness, community outreach events, and philanthropy. Dreams of Lois focuses on areas predominantly unreached by other social service organizations to provide resources and supplies. I have been uniquely qualified to solve these issues because I see them daily while teaching and serving others in need. Part of what inspires me to do this work is that I observe so many children without a stable support system and desire to provide them with all they need to be happy, healthy, and successful. “Dreams of Lois” refers to my mother-Lois, who died young from breast cancer. I always say that my mother had so much love inside. My dream is to keep my mother’s love alive by spreading goodness into the community. Even if the act is small, it can have a long-lastly impact on someone’s life. That is what I and Dreams of Lois Inc. believe.

I am extremely busy with my family and the Dreams of Lois organization, as I often work seven days a week. Each month Dreams of Lois hosts events and supports hundreds of individuals in children shelters and mobile home communities through food, personal hygiene products, supplies, clothing, and services. Last year alone (2021) Dreams of Lois will have directly impacted 4000 people through direct donations of goods and services. We look forward to serving even more in 2022. Dreams of Lois, has supported healthcare workers at hospitals by providing snacks and water. In addition, Dreams of Lois supports families in need during natural disasters, most recently in the Metro and south Atlanta area. We feed families in shelters, mobile home parks, and hospitals and provide donations of schools supplies, hygiene products, crafts, and snacks. Dreams of Lois is known for its powerful partnership with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta where we host an annual pajama event for patients and their families. The patients receive brand new pajamas, crafts, and snacks to help make their stay a little brighter. We have been hosting this event at CHOA for nearly 10 years and have donated thousands of brand-new pajamas. This is truly one of our signature events, and we are so proud of these accomplishments and partnerships. We are always moving forward and looking towards innovative ways to support communities.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

I would have to take you to Gocha’s Breakfast Bar in Fayetteville Georgia for brunch, then to Your Pie for an early fun dinner in Fayetteville, followed by dessert at Small Cakes in Fayetteville Georgia, and close the day by picking up the hottest merch at @dopecityprints and sleepwear at @dreamcloudsleepwear.

This is truly a perfect day for me!!!
