We had the good fortune of connecting with Whitney Stovall and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Whitney, so given all the recent changes to how we live our life given the crisis, have you had any interesting epiphanies?
The COVID-19 crisis is creating a new normal for us as a global nation. This is the first time in centuries that an event has equally impacted the entire world. This crisis has created an opportunity for people to begin defining life for themselves; for instance, I know of friends who’ve been able to change the way their child learns now that they’re homeschooling, and they’ve seen significant improvements. I know of others who have opened their business up to a whole new world of customers by accepting online and curbside orders. Within every tragic situation is a chance to come out bigger and better, and this is no different.

What should our readers know about your business?
WDS Enterprises is a writing and developing company that provides B2B/B2C companies, nonprofits, and educational institutions with content marketing and copywriting services. We offer a comprehensive process from start to finish that includes an in-depth initial assessment, researching the audience/persona, and monitoring and tracking content performance.

My business has grown substantially throughout the two years. Like all new business owners, I had to bump my head a few times. Mainly when it came to creating a lucrative business structure; while balancing imposter syndrome. I had to get beyond the thought that people wouldn’t be willing to pay a premium for my skills and knowledge.

Ultimately, I had to change the way I thought, then pivot my business model. I had to remember that clients aren’t paying for me or even my time, they’re paying me to make their dreams come true, and that’s priceless. So I always keep in mind that my main goal is to ensure that my clients reach their goals. It is the underlying vision and mission of my business.
