We had the good fortune of connecting with Michael Waller and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michael, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my business was after working 30 years in cooperate America. I wanted to start a business that was enjoyable, sustainable. and profitable.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I became a photographer because I love the fact that my creativity has an impact on another persons emotions. Art can make you smile, laugh, even cry and having the ability to do that is a powerful thing. So, I don’t take that lightly. As an Artist, each shot, I want to create that Wow factor.to my audience. I started as a drawer and painter in high school. After graduating high school, I went into the military and was stationed in Germany for 5 years. During that time, I wanted to capture the European beauty on film. So, I purchased a 35mm camera and started photographing the beautiful landscape and historical monuments during my stay oversees.

After spending 10 years in the military, I started working in Corporates America as a Information Technology professional and winding down my career. I started my company, Four Walls Photography.

The name Four Walls Photography was created from my last name Waller, my four brothers and captures life’s memories through weddings, anniversaries, special events and portraits utilizing techniques outside the box.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The first place I would go is to dinner at Capers Restaurant in Kennesaw, We would check out a sporting event, such as the Braves, Falcons, Hawks or Dreams. We would go to the King Center and Auburn St. We would have dinner at the 191 Commerce Club. We would play a round of golf at Chapel Hill Golf and Country Club in Douglasville, We would go to Cigar City in Buckhead.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have to give a Shoutout to my wife Freda. She has been my biggest supporter. My wife has been such a motivating factor in me pursue my dreams.
