Meet Annie Boswell and Caroline Sontag: Owners of Harper Pointe, LLC

We had the good fortune of connecting with Annie Boswell and Caroline Sontag and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Annie Boswell and Caroline Sontag, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Caroline and I wanted to offer something different to the shopping world. We started an at-home online boutique where one had the option to either shop online or make a shopping appointment with Harper Pointe. We built out Caroline’s basement during quarentine and made it feel just like a store front! With a separate door down to the basement, shoppers are able to stop by whenever it works best for them, feeling just like a brick and mortar store!
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Harper Pointe is a women’s clothing boutique that offers elevated, everyday essentials for women of all ages. We are proud to help women feel trendy with our pieces without having to break the bank!
Caroline and I pride ourselves in the relationships we have formed with our customers. It’s not just about making a sale for us… We love knowing that we’ve helped someone feel beautiful and put together with our clothes. We love helping someone find the perfect gift for their mom, sister, or wife. We ENJOY getting to know our customers and really listening to what they have to say!
Harper Pointe started out as a jewelry company. With our dreams in mind, we saved for almost two years to be able to start offering clothing to our customers. With hard work and determination, we were able to make this happen. Of course there were speed bumps along the road, but nothing that stopped us from making our dreams become reality!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Restaurants : Brooklyn Cafe, Three dollar cafe, Le Biboquet, Chapman’s (lunch), The Select
Places to visit: The Battery, bike at the Chattahoochee, walk on the Belt line, walk around the Buckhead shops, have a picnic at Piedmont Park, walk around Scott’s Antique Market
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Both Annie and Caroline want to dedicate this to their fathers, Mike Fortune and John Croley. They BOTH taught us what hard work really is and to never stop dreaming.
