Where are you from and how did your background and upbringing impact who you are today?


Through our work we have had the good fortune of seeing firsthand how success comes in every shape, size, color, faith, and orientation. More importantly we’ve learned that success is often the result of people embracing their unique backgrounds and so we’ve asked the community to tell us about their background and how it has impacted where they are today.

I grew up in St. Louis, MO, which has an incredible creative community, and both of my parents chose creative, entrepreneurial careers, which definitely had a huge impact on me! My father started his own chain of Italian restaurants and also had his hand in his other hobbies, music and local politics! My mother started her career as a model and transitioned into commercial and VO acting, as well as working as a makeup artist and a producer. Read more>>

I hail from the Pacific Northwest, where I spent my childhood. While I didn’t have much growing up, I was blessed with an abundance of love, a strong work ethic, and a passion for beauty. At the age of ten, I designed a cedar-lined hope chest/bench for my birthday, which my dad lovingly built. This experience ignited my lifelong love for design, which I’ve since applied to various projects including spaces in the home, personal events, and even a boat house. Read more>>

Hi my name is Nichole Campbell a native of Augusta, Ga. I was born and raised here. Growing up in Augusta in a very close family has taught me many things. My grandma Anna Jean Elam Quiller made sure we were brought up in church and of course you know that involved all of my siblings and cousins.
