It’s easy to get caught up in the day to day, but it’s important to stop ask: what’s the end goal? Knowing where you are trying to go is step one in getting there and so we’ve asked some folks we admire to tell us their end goal and where they want to be by the end of their careers.

Taya Marin | Hair Stylist, Makeup Artist and Beauty Influencer

I love servicing my bridal and everyday makeup clients and want to continue to do that throughout my career. However, my true end goal for my business is to build a quality, inclusive, cruelty free, and affordable cosmetic product line to be distributed in major retailers such as Sephora, Ulta, and Target. I want to be as hands on as possible custom formulating my products that includes all full coverage foundations/concealers of all shade ranges, highly pigmented shadows, and luxurious highlighters. I’d also love to get into skincare product formulation at some point. While simultaneously building the product line and brand, I’d like to host masterclasses to teach aspiring makeup artists my techniques and how to best use the products from my line. Read more>>

Alston Shropshire | Author and Transformational Speaker

The end goal for me is to provide stability for twenty generations of my bloodline that follows me—generational wealth for my children, their children, and continuing down the line. By the time my career ends, I would have like to make an impact in the world. By pouring truth, compassion, love, and transparency, I believe I can do just that. To me, that’s legendary status. That is someone you won’t forget, an impactful person. I want to inspire my bloodline to want to continue the legacy of truth, compassion, love, and transparency in whatever positive thing they do. I want to be the ancestor to fuels that forward. I want the means to already be in place, so they won’t have to face the industry’s politics and cliques. Read more>>

Shay Levister | Certified Love Transformer®, Certified Master Love Coach and Master NLP Practitioner

I currently run a million-dollar company helping women attract love and transform into the greatest version of themselves. With the divorce rate so high, it is no longer enough for women to jump into the dating game and hope for the best. They want solid guidance that will help them avoid dating disappointments and pitfalls. I am so blessed and fortunate that my brand and mission have grown much bigger than myself. Shay Better Coaching has an online learning platform that teaches women my secret formula, based on science, that had men falling for me in less than 30 days and ultimately led to me marrying my soulmate seven years ago. The formula I discovered through my dating experiment of going on over 100 dates in three months and interviewing thousands of men and reading hundreds of human behavior, psychology, and relationship books, was so effective that the techniques had men enamored enough to buy me a house, shopping sprees, a new car, exotic trips, concert tickets, Super Bowl tickets, and Masters tickets.
