I could never fully agree with the idea that “something paid for is more valuable than something given for free.” As it pertains to my business, I initially offered my services for free. However, offering free services did not mean I didn’t value myself, my services, or my brand. I had spent years cultivating the skills and knowledge to be an adequate personal trainer. I led with compassion for my clients and used my passion and skills to train family and friends for free.
