I started my solo private practice after working several years in criminal justice and juvenile justice rehabilitation programs, an outpatient community mental health agency, an inpatient adolescent crisis stabilization unit, and a group private practice. I wanted to build my dream mental health practice, and make my business work for my family instead of the other way around. Now, I have more flexibility as a small business owner that allows me to show up and be more present with my son and my wife.
