The one factor that most outsiders of the stock investing and trading world believe that it takes a lot of money to begin. Of course it helps to have a healthy balance in your account as this will enhance your buying power; however, I ALWAYS encourage those that are new to be market to begin with $0 because it is incredibly important to practice trading first. The stock market is inherently volatile so it is helpful to understand what it feels like to win and to loose before you put our actual money to work. Then – at the point where you are beginning to see consistent profits and you are mastered your strategy that is the time to put your real money to work. How much of it has to do with luck and timing/relationships. There are so many talented artists/writers out there that deserve to be heard by a wider audience, and some of the best songs ever written will never see the light of day. Like any business, the music industry is driven by money and strategic relationships/connections. That shouldn’t dishearten people, it’s just a fact of life, and still recognizing that you have to put in the work and have the talent/product.
