One of our favorite things to do is to ask the folks we are inspired by what they are inspired by. We’ve shared some of their responses below.

My inspiration truly comes from the community I serve. Initially, I started my business to heal myself and align with my highest purpose. I also knew I wanted to help others navigate their journeys and heal. The deeper I got into this career, the more I realized how much I could impact my collective community. It began to be about something bigger than me. It is the number of lives I’ve changed that keeps me going. Hearing testimonials such as “You saved my life” or “If it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t know my true strength” moves me in unimaginable ways. Read more>>

I’m mostly inspired by the truth, beauty, and maximizing my daydreams into reality. Everything these days is smoke and mirrors. I’ve always been inspired by people who don’t hide who they are to get where they want to be. So when I say the truth I mean, authenticity in knowing who you are is enough and will always be enough. I am inspired by my kids. I know it sounds very cliché and “mommy-like,” but I literally am. I see so much of myself in them, especially my 4 year old. She is so lively and confident and I never want that to be dimmed, like it was in me. I want them to know that they can do anything they put their minds to. So, I push myself, so that while I’m inspired by them, they can also be inspired by me. I also am inspired by my husband, he literally makes stuff happen for us, REGARDLESS. His go getter, never quit mentality is so inspiring. Read more>>

It depends on the day and I have a habit of sometimes getting tunnel vision about things like this, but in general I’d say water and the ocean. One of my favorite poems is the Drunken Boat by Arthur Rimbaud and I thought about it a lot at points in my life when I was trying to figure out the things I wanted to express through music. But in general, like I said, the ocean has always fascinated me – how it’s a gateway to completely different parts of the world. I’ve always loved geography too, so I guess that’s related. Read more>>
