We had the good fortune of connecting with TuT x TuT and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi TuT x, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
For my brand, I would say that the most important factor behind my success is my ability to create music that is not only unique and authentic but also reflects my personal values and experiences. Additionally, it’s important to note that I couldn’t have made it happen without the support of my family and close ones who have always been there for me and never gave up on me. Lastly, I think that my unwavering faith and belief in myself, coupled with my strong relationship with God, helped me overcome the darkest times and kept me on the right path. I never allowed any weapon formed against me to prosper.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
When it comes to making music, I’m truly one-of-a-kind. I have different flows, styles, and approaches to my music, which makes me a breath of fresh air in the industry.

My music journey began in 2018 when I made my first song with Auqiie called “Gunna Freestyle.” Since then, I’ve been on a mission to create music that’s unique and authentic to me.

One thing that sets me apart from other artists is my stage name. “TuTxTuT” means that I’m only in competition with myself, and no one else. This approach allows me to focus on my craft and not worry too much about results.

Another important lesson that I’ve learned is not to listen to other people’s opinions about my music. I know that just 1-3 opinions don’t define the quality of my music. Instead, I’m focused on making connections and getting better at my craft.

Finally, I’m on a mission to attack the industry in a way that hasn’t been done before. I’m determined to make my mark and create something truly unique. With my talent and drive, there’s no doubt that I’ll achieve my goals and become a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Miami is an amazing city that has a lot to offer. One of the things that I love about Miami is the food. There are so many great food places to try, from Cuban sandwiches to fresh seafood. Some of my favorite spots include Versailles, Joe’s Stone Crab, La Camaronera Fish Market and you can forget about the great Haitian food.

In addition to the food, there are also plenty of fun spots to go to in Miami. South Beach is a popular destination for tourists, with its beautiful beaches and vibrant nightlife. For those who love water activities, there are plenty of options such as jet skiing, parasailing, and paddleboarding.

Miami is also a multicultural city, which means that there are plenty of opportunities to explore different cultures. Little Havana is a great place to experience Cuban culture, while Wynwood is known for its street art and galleries.

Finally, Miami is home to many popular music studios. Hit Factory Criteria Recording Studios, The Hit Factory Miami, Audio Visions and Circle House Studios are just a few examples of the many studios that can be found in the city. Overall, Miami is a great place to visit or call home, with something for everyone to enjoy.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to take a moment to give a special shoutout to my mom, Auqiie, and Hey Samyr. These people and groups have made such an important impact on my life. From emotional support to mentorship, they’ve been there for me since day one and have never wavered in their support.

I’m especially grateful to Auqiie, who is not only a close friend but also a business partner. We’ve been working on multiple projects together, including short films and music, and I’m excited to see what we’ll create next.

I also want to give a shoutout to Samyr, who introduced me to Iman Shumpert and helped me connect with his side of the media production world.

Last but certainly not least, my mom has always been my backbone and emotional support whenever I needed it. She’s my number one fan and I couldn’t have done it without her. Thank you all for your unwavering support and love!
