The most important thing that I have done as parent to impact my children was to finish college and start my own business. After graduating high school, I decided to move to Atlanta from the small town of Belzoni, Ms. I became a waitress at Waffle House making $2.17 an hour. After working there for quite some time, I soon realized I needed a college education but only after two years of attending I dropped out and became a mother. After having my first daughter she motivated me to go back to college to get my bachelor’s degree. My daughter has been my driving force from the day she entered my life.
