Never give up?

Never give up. It’s advice that is thrown around daily – but is it always right? We asked some folks we admire about their thoughts around how to know when to give up and when to keep trying

That’s such an important question to ask . I believe if something is for you it will show up in your life multiple times. For instance, in the film/ television industry it can be very hard to break through in it but when you have the talent and you have the skill set and the connections and you constantly work on your craft. Opportunity presents itself and the world show you that you are suppose to do what you are doing. It’s hard and it’s easy to get frustrated and to give up but why do that. Giving up has never been an option to me. When it comes to my Collective or my own personal passion projects, I know that I have to see it through. Even when the obstacles in my way seem so impossible to get over- I tell myself “well you’re gonna come across another obstacle one day so what’s the difference here”. There have been times where I need to pause or take a minute from something but I always end up right back. Read more>>

For me, giving up is not an option as an entrepreneur, but knowing when to pivot is the key. This was something that a fellow caterer in Chattanooga advised when I first began. If something is not working for your business, you have to be willing to try something different.
