We had the good fortune of connecting with Zarinah Branch and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Zarinah, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The idea for Everything Kashmere began to take shape when I was 20 years old. Being my own boss and having a passion for fashion had always been on my mind, so opening a clothing store seemed like the perfect way to combine both. Currently, Everything Kashmere operates solely as an online business. However, my plan is to open our first physical store in Las Vegas, NV within the next 5 years, with plans to expand further from there. This is just the start, as I have a grand vision for the future of my business.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Everything Kashmere is a global online boutique that specializes in women’s clothing. My brand stands out because I prioritize providing an exceptional shopping experience to everyone who chooses to shop with us, making them feel like they’re in a high-end store. My philosophy is centered around the idea of “everything lavish at the tip of your fingers”. I am thrilled to witness Everything Kashmere’s expansion into a multi-million dollar enterprise with stores spanning across the globe. This journey has been arduous, and it continues to be challenging, but I firmly believe that anything worth having is worth the effort. I am a firm believer in working hard and persisting through any obstacles without giving up. I want to emphasize to the world that if you haven’t yet experienced the luxury of Everything Kashmere, then you’re missing out!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
As you may already know, I don’t reside in Atlanta, but I frequently travel there for work-related assignments. Despite my transient visits, each time I find myself in the city, it’s always a fantastic experience. I enjoy immersing myself in the vibrant local culture and exploring the various sights. One of my go-to dining spots in Atlanta is “Hattie Marie’s Soul Food.” The food there is simply delightful, and it’s become one of my favorite destinations to visit, particularly since I’m from the west coast.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are numerous individuals who have contributed to my journey and to whom I owe thanks and praise. Firstly, I would like to express gratitude to God for granting me the power to move forward in life. Additionally, I am deeply indebted to my mother for bringing me into this world and being a steadfast support system for me through all of life’s ups and downs. I am also extremely grateful for my partner, who has consistently provided assistance and guidance in all aspects of my business pursuits and has been a constant source of encouragement. Although many people have played a role in my journey, listing them all would require an entire article.
