We had the good fortune of connecting with Yosoye Adesoye and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Yosoye, what role has risk played in your life or career?
It has made me broaden my horizon. You have to be willing to take a leap of faith to get things done. Without risk and persistence, most great establishments and businesses wouldn’t thrive .
In general, risks are viewed as potential threats or challenges that can have negative consequences.

However, I see risk as an opportunity for growth and development, as taking risks has lead me to new experiences and achievements. Ultimately, the perception of risk may vary depending on an individual’s personality, values, and past experiences.

Ultimately, risk should be carefully considered and balanced with potential benefits in order to make informed and effective decisions.

However, risk has lead me to great opportunities and growth. It is important to properly assess and manage risk in order to make informed decisions and potentially reap benefits. It is also important to remember that not taking risks can also have its own consequences and hinder progress.

Ultimately, it is about finding a balance and being prepared to take calculated risks in pursuit of success

Risk is an inevitable part of life and it can be perceived differently by different individuals.

Some people may view risk as an opportunity for growth and challenge, while others may see it as a threat and avoid it at all costs. I personally do view risk as an opportunity for growth and challenge.

What should our readers know about your business?
YSB Real Estate is not just a business; it’s a mission to infuse integrity, creativity, and familial values into every project we undertake. What sets us apart is our commitment to building not just properties but homes that carry the essence of family and community. Our journey wasn’t easy. Like any other business, we faced our share of challenges, from navigating market fluctuations to ensuring we always stay true to our vision amidst growing competition. The key was always to stay focused, lean heavily on our collective strengths, and remain adaptive to change. The greatest lesson learned is the power of resilience and the magic of teamwork. I want the world to know that YSB is more than a brand; it’s a testament to the strength of family, the value of hard work, and the beauty of dreaming big.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
A week in Atlanta and Marietta with my best friend would be nothing short of memorable. We’d kick off with a culinary journey through Buckhead’s finest restaurants, each evening bringing a new flavor to our table. Days would be filled with visits to the Georgia Aquarium and a stroll through the Atlanta Botanical Garden, immersing in the beauty and diversity of life. Midweek, we’d head to Marietta Square for a taste of local history and hospitality, catching live music or a community event if we’re lucky. No visit would be complete without a day trip to the North Georgia mountains for some hiking, offering us a moment to reconnect with nature and each other. Evenings would find us at some of Marietta’s cherished local spots, supporting the businesses close to my heart in my local area and definitely a Braves or Atlanta United game on the weekend . This itinerary isn’t just about sightseeing; it’s about experiencing the soul of the places that have shaped me.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Absolutely, I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to my wife and family. My wife, not just as a life partner but also as a co-pioneer in our business, brings her seasoned expertise as a designer and real estate professional, adding an invaluable dimension to our operations. My children, the core of my drive, inspire me daily to push boundaries. Also, a significant shoutout to my brothers, who have been instrumental in weaving the fabric of our business with their relentless support and dedication. Beyond my immediate family, I want to recognize the local business community in Georgia, every single supplier, contractor and every trade – all whose resilience, support, professionalism and warmth have always motivated me to grow a company and build a legacy rooted in the growth of Georgia.
